National Arts Centre, Ottawa, Canada
My view has long been that the gigaton-scale carbon removal imperative needs Canadian leadership. It’s the reason I helped start Carbon Removal Canada. We’re starting to see that leadership emerge - from major investments and sizeable off take agreements with Canadian carbon removal companies to world leading policies including one of the world’s first procurement programs and a major investment tax credit for direct air capture.
With these recent successes in place, we think Canada is setting up to be a leading global carbon removal powerhouse and international destination for new projects and investments. Carbon Removal Day will offer a view into these opportunities, with panels, presentations, and interactive roundtables on key issues facing the industry.
This in-person event is relevant to companies, investors, non-profits, governments, and community groups from around the world with an interest in carbon removal. Please get in touch with us to learn about discounted hotel rates and for answers to any logistical questions. We hope you can join us in February at the beautiful National Arts Centre in Ottawa!
