Join me in Ottawa to talk carbon removal market shaping!
Carbon Removal Canada is launching its latest policy report: Procuring with Purpose on October 9th with key stakeholders across the carbon removal sector
In a few short weeks, we at Carbon Removal Canada will be launching our latest report: Procuring with Purpose, examining how governments and corporate actors can help catalyze the development of the carbon removal sector through procurement.
The event will feature yours truly sharing some opening remarks and key findings of the report, followed by a fireside chat with the Honourable Anita Anand, President of the Treasury Board and Minister of Transport hosted by Michael Bernstein, Executive Director of Clean Prosperity and Advisory Board Chair for Carbon Removal Canada. They’ll be talking about the Government of Canada’s decision to include carbon removal procurement in the last Federal Budget and preview what’s coming next.
If you’re in Ottawa, or nearby, or just really love carbon removal and market shaping, come join us on October 9th at the beautiful Ottawa Art Gallery! We’ll kick things off at 4:45pm sharp with remarks and the fireside chat, followed by some networking with government representatives, carbon removal developers, and other industry peers through the rest of the evening.
