22 Carbon Removal Companies Hiring Right Now
Over 200 job openings in carbon removal, carbontech, carbon markets, and carbon management policy.
Looking back at the first half of 2022, I can confidently say it has been an excellent year for carbon removal. From big funding rounds and new advance market commitments to the launch of the $3.5 billion DAC Hubs Program, there’s a lot of reasons to feel hopeful about this sector.
Execution is going to be key to maintaining the current momentum - especially given some economic headwinds. And execution demands talent. So every couple of months I publish a Twitter thread on 10 carbon removal companies with exciting job openings (here are previous threads from February, April, and May). I’m a big believer that there’s a role for everyone in the carbon removal universe, and I think a critical success factor for any carbon removal company is their ability to fill key engineering, research, business development, and operations roles to help them deploy their solutions in the months and years ahead. We just need to make sure a diverse, talented, and passionate group of people know about these roles in the first place.
So, at the halfway point of 2022, I thought I’d expand my list to 22 carbon removal / carbontech innovators, NGOs, and marketplaces, advertising over 200 job openings combined.
Check out the opportunities below and please share this far and wide to anyone you know who is passionate about working on climate. I still think it’s a great time to make that shift to work on climate, despite the uncertain economic environment. I’ll publish more of these in the months ahead, so make sure to subscribe to this newsletter if you haven’t already.
